Clyde Santana

DP - Director of Photography/Writing Coach

 

Clyde has presented and trained  at numerous conferences and has published 13 articles for “TIPS.” He has written /co-written two training films and 12 PSA's for the state ABC Agency.  He has enjoyed professional theater equity productions of  two musical stage plays cowritten by him in Philadelphia. In 2000, the musical stageplay “BO!” co-written by him was awarded a National Endowment for the Arts "Creation and Presentation" Grant.  He has received many awards for his involvement with other law  enforcement agencies and was the recipient of the Virginia' “Governor’s Award (Gold Medal) for Volunteering Excellence 1992”. A member of SAG - AFTRA, he has acted in numerous  Dupont  / Coastal Technologies training films, several TV commercials, played the "Cool Grandfather" in The Williamsburg Historical Center national print work project. Also, acted in several episodes for TV and commericals. In 2011, his screenplay, A Playground Miracle was a TOP 100 finalist in Sundance's Read my Screenplay competition. He has produced, written and filmed two 1/2 hour film projects and is currently working on his third one, a TV sitcom pilot which is planned for a winter 2014 -2015 shoot. Additionally, Clyde runs the Attucks Theatre writers workshop and board member of the VPA (Virginia Production Alliance.

 

 

Tivia Gray
Camera Operator - Filmmaker

Before Tivia became founder/CCO (Chief Creative Officer) of Tivoyage Entertainment, she served in one or more capacities as a Director, Producer, Writer, Director of Photography, Videographer, Assistant Director, Script Supervisor, Actor and Editor on short films, a commercial contest, music video, artist showcase for public  TV, prospective television series and web series.  She has worked as a Director/Editor/Director of Photography for a Rhythm of Gospel Awards winner and as a Producer/Actor for a film in the Cox Cable Short Film Showcase. 

 

Tivoyage Entertainment recently launched its Instagram account for its animated web series, "Bexley Snow and the Magic Orb".   "Bexley Snow and the Magic Orb" will premiere this year.

 

Cetre Pegues
Camera Operator - Filmmaker

Early work for Pegues was in the documentary world, shooting and editing documentaries for Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, and National Geographic. This would pave the way to his realistic filmmaking style. 

Pegues worked under several talented directors such as Noam Murro, Spike Lee, and Darren Grant (Diary of a Mad Black Woman). In his early years he worked under acclaimed cinematographer, the late Fritz Roland.

His music video directorial debut starred Academy Award winner Mo’Nique (Precious) which earned him several best director wins in numerous festivals. His debut feature film which he wrote and directed, helped launch the acting career of Al Shearer (Glory Road, MTV Punk’d).

It was not until his study with highly acclaimed professor Judith Weston where he admits “I knew a lot about the craft, but so little about the actor.” 

Pegues admits that his greatest influence comes from foreign films, with much respect to his favorite director, Wong Kar Wai. 

Monty Ross

Production Consultant

 

Monty Ross is an American film producer and director best known for this collaboration with friend and framed movie director, Spike Lee. Their early collaboration catapulted African American cinema in the 1980s, and 90s by utilizing original stories for theatrical release, television, cable broadcasting  and all forms of home entertainment. There partnership lasted for over 20 years generating movies that received critical acclaim, box office success and launched the careers of many aspiring and emerging actors and numerous film and television professionals who have gone on to distinguish themselves in the entertainment business. A few notable projects that Ross production supervised and co-produced with director Spike Lee are: The low-budget $7 million dollar box office hit; "She's Gotta Have It", the highly controversial, yet critically acclaimed award winning movie: "Do The Right Thing", and the powerful cinematic favorite of many; "Malcolm X". Today Ross continues his work with emerging young directors, and producers providing mentorship and film production classes.
