JaMara Smith

JaMara Smith has appeared in various TV shows such as Sleepy Hollow, The Have & Have Nots and Healthwatch.  She has also performed in many theater productions such as Railings, Hurts, Hosea & Gomer and The Gift.  

 

JaMara is a graduate of the Terravizion Acting Studio where her passion for the arts was revitalized.  She is the proud mother of Alexus and Isaiah Jefferson and the Minister and Young Adult Leader at Faith In Action Church.  

 

JaMara is also an Event Planner and the Host of FIA FRIDAYS a local event held the first Friday of every month catering to the youth.  JaMara would like to thank her parents Marvin and Jacqueline Smith and spread love to everyone for supporting her in all her endeavors.

Jermelle Simon

JERMELLE SIMON is a American actor who has done various tv spots and films which includes: TATTOO NIGHTMARES, THE GAME, PRETTY BAD GIRLS and much more. His training includes John Robert Powers and Play house West of Los Angles.  

 


 

Frances Owens

Evelyn "Mom" Cooper

Frances Owens, is an Actress/Voiceover Artist (SAG-AFTRA Eligible) with an amazingly distinctive voice. She has studied the Meisner technique and Voiceover from the very talented and well known Keith Flippen, of The Actors' Place, Inc and Sylvia Harman. She has recently studied the Method technique from Lucia Scarano.

 

Frances has shown her talent and skills on film and stage as well as behind the mic. She has received accolades regarding her performances as to how natural and believable she is on film, as well as her ability to capture the audience on stage. No matter the style of performance, her voice leaves her signature.Her recent feature film credit is Burning Sands shown on Netflix that was directed by Gerard McMurray who was the Associate Producer for Fruitvale Station. Frances recent television credit was Death by Gossip (Mothers Day Murder); she also has a recurring role as Detective Helen Weaver on Precinct 757. Frances captured the audience with her story telling, as the Lady in Green in For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf at the Generic Theater in Norfolk, VA. She has also worked on a number of films; a short film entitled Little Walter Hidgins was shown at The Historic Gruman's Chinese Theater in Los Angeles, CA. She was also in a student film entitled Secrets for Strangers that was shown at the 2013 Hollywood Black Film Festival.

Marlon Hargrave

Marlon “The Thespian King” Hargrave, a long time member of SAG and graduate of AMDA (American Musical and Dramatic Academy) NYC, is also an award winning director and actor. He is currently the host of the Actors Open Stage and Director of Theater at the Venue on 35th in Norfolk, Va. He’s the Head of Acting for the IMS (Improv’s, Monologues, and Scenes) Project at the Attucks Theater’s Arts Incubator Program. He’s the co-director for the upcoming movie “Employee of the Year” (2015), director of the stage play “Finding Chris, My Father”, and director of the “Best of the VPF (Virginia Playwrights Forum) Short Story Series”.

Marlon, who is also the Director of Operations for Keep The Change Productions,  works as an acting and directing coach, director, actor, script writer, script supervisor, producer, sketch comedy writer, consultant, and casting director for films (independent, reality, documentaries, shorts), TV, as well as stage plays. He also teaches stage combat techniques to aspiring actors and stunt personnel.
